While yearning for her teeming point to come, Gwendolyn starts to connect with another 17-year-old foster boy living with her who calls himself Welch. New Release, Giveaway & Review ~ SHATTERED BY YOU by Nashoda Rose

Crisis’ story is FINALLY here!

Amazon US
Amazon UK
Barnes & Noble :

What started out as a deal quickly became a friendship that conquered monsters.

I killed, but I escaped hell.
Emotionless. Disconnected. Cold. A mannequin. It’s what I’d become in order to survive the years held in captivity. I was able to endure the abuse and devastating loss as long as I remained detached.
But he wouldn't let me.
Crisis, the bass guitarist in my brother’s rock band, Tear Asunder. He’s cocky, rude, a total man-whore. But the rock star has far more beneath the surface of his inked skin, and he’s determined to make me laugh again.
He made me a "deal", but really, it was blackmail.
His terms were simple. Until his playful honesty became the building blocks to something unexpected. Something strong enough to pull me from the eye of the storm.
Because even though I escaped years of abuse, it didn’t mean I was free.

My Review
I’m in LOVE with Crisis. He is just everything in this book. Most books out right now are either the guy is all f’d up or the guy tries to fix everything to make the girl all better. That is NOT the case in this story. Crisis is not a mess AND he does not barge in a take control. What he does is so much better. So much more satisfying. He SUPPORTS his girl. He STANDS beside his girl while she fights her battles. He is secure enough in himself that he lets his girl figure things out for herself. He is AMAZING!
Who’s his girl? Haven. A girl that is lost in the past but so desperate to move on. A girl that has demons so large and so devastating that she is afraid that if they come out it will ruin someone very close to her. She is not afraid for herself because she feels like there is nothing left of her to be salvaged. That is until Crisis. Slowly but surely he draws out the REAL Haven. The one that was lost years ago. Makes her realize that SHE is worth fighting for. That SHE is important and loved.
This story will break your heart and mend it back together all at once. The terrible things that Haven had to endure while growing up seems too insurmountable to overcome, but she is strong. Stronger then she thinks. When she breaks, and she must in order for her to heal, will she be able to pick up the shattered pieces?
I love Nashoda’s writing. It is so genuine, so heartfelt. While the story itself seems crazy and unbelievable, the characters are real. Their bond is tangible. The Tear Asunder family might be unconventional, but they are a family! They will make you laugh and maybe cry. They will defiantly turn you on. And you will root for them…..because by reading their stories, you become a part of the family. You just can't help it.

I walked down the hall, pulled the elastic band on my boxers and glanced at my hard throbbing cock. “You’ll have to wait a little longer, buddy.”
“Are you really talking to your cock?”
I let go of the elastic and it snapped hard on my abdomen. Haven wasn’t making coffee; she was coming up the stairs with an armful of clothes. Fuck, she looked hot, long blonde hair messy as if she’d tossed and turned in her sleep, and she had sleepy eyes—adorable.
“Yeah. He’s angry this morning.” I stood right in the middle of the top of the stairs so if she wanted to get by, she’d need to brush up against me. It was childish, but fuck, I was a guy.
Her brows lifted. “Why is he angry?”
I smirked, loving that she was down for a little play. “Placed an ‘out of order’ sign on him.” Her brows drew together and her eyes flicked to my tented boxers.
“Doesn’t look out of order.”
I laughed and couldn’t help myself as I stroked the back of my hand down her cheek. It took her by surprise and she swayed backwards. I grabbed her arm before she toppled down the stairs and pulled her up onto the landing next to me.
A white piece of clothing slipped from the pile she was holding and fell at her feet. I smirked when I realized what it was, and took great pleasure in helping her out since there was no way she could bend over and get it without everything falling from her grasp.
I let her go and crouched, picking up the white lace panties. I held them out and her nose twitched like a rabbit sensing danger. “I like white. Prefer pink though, for future notice. And lace I love.”
She was trapped because if she snatched them from my hand, she’d drop the clothes and if she didn’t then . . . I curled them up in my palm.
“They aren’t mine,” she blurted.
God, she was cute. “Darlin’ I know they are and I love that you’re denying it. Means you care.”
Now that raised a little heat in her cheeks and I liked it. Shit, I liked it a lot because when I left a few months back, that would’ve never happened and now that was twice. She was affected by me—good to know. “I don’t care.”
I shrugged then turned to head back to my room to hide my newly acquired treasure. I had no doubt she’d search for them the second I left the house. I looked back over my shoulder and caught her eyes staring at my butt; could’ve been my back, but unlikely. Really, it didn’t matter which. I was just impressed she was eyeing me up.
“You can look, but don’t touch,” I said.
Her mouth dropped open then snapped shut. I disappeared around the corner, then heard her stomping down the hall. Haven wasn’t a stomper. She was graceful, elegant and controlled. Too controlled. And that part of her was coming down.

New Release ~ WICKED WHITE by Michelle Valentine

Are you ready to meet Ace White? You can get your hands on WICKED WHITE by Michelle A. Valentine now!

After his mother dies, rock star Ace White—lead singer of the red-hot band Wicked White—is done with the celebrity game. The phony people, the meaningless one-night stands: he doesn’t want any of it anymore. Quitting in the middle of a sold-out tour, Ace sets out to find some place—any place—where he can be alone.

Aspiring singer Iris Easton’s life has never been easy. First, her mother walked out on her when she was a kid. Now she’s buried in debt, weeks after losing her beloved grandmother. When a mysterious and sexy new guy moves in next door, Iris can’t help but be drawn to his soulful gaze. She can tell there’s something from his past haunting him—something he’s not telling her.
Just as Ace starts falling for Iris, the media go on a worldwide hunt to find the missing rocker. Will true love conquer all, or will the truth be the very thing that tears the couple apart?

Without warning, she throws her arms around my neck and crushes her lips against mine. I know kissing her back is wrong, but I’ll be damned if I don’t want her so badly at this point that I can’t stop myself from giving in. I’ve been so good with restraining myself when it comes to Iris, because protecting her from the chaos that I’ll bring her is what’s always been on the forefront of my mind. Her fingers thrust into my hair, and I reach down and curl my hands around her thighs before hoisting her into the air. Instinctively she wraps her legs around my waist, and I thread one of my hands into her tousled curls while the other is busy cupping that perfect ass of hers. “I’ve wanted you since you walked into my trailer,” she breathes against my lips. A thrill shoots through me at her admission of how long she’s wanted me. “You’ve been driving me out of my mind from the moment I first saw you.” “Then take me.” Her words leave her mouth in a breathy sigh as she gives me permission to ravage her body. I’ve wanted her so much for so long, it would easy for me to say screw it and give in and screw her right here in this shed, but I know that’s a dick move on my part. Iris Easton is not the kind of girl you can sleep with one time and never see again. She’s the kind of girl that makes you change everything you thought you ever wanted in life just to be with her. ace3 ABOUT MICHELLE A. VALENTINE

Title: The Quest For Perkins Vale (Legendary Rockstars #3)
Author: L.B. Dunbar
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: June 22, 2015
I'm not sure I know what to think of the girl I've searched for since I was thirteen; she isn't exactly how I remembered her. I'm twenty-five, a guy and a virgin. Yep, you read that right; I'm still a virgin. Why you ask? Because I met the woman of my dreams when she was still a girl and I've been searching for her ever since we met. I've saved myself for her, as I believe she saved herself for me. Why again? Because I will love her, like she will love me, when we finally meet, again. I'd like to think it was that simple, but I don't really know if she will love me. I only hope she will. If she doesn't, she won't be the right girl for me, because like I said, I've been saving myself for the woman of my dreams. I just don't know where she is, but I won't stop searching until I find her. That is my mission. My quest.

The Quest of Perkins Vale ~ L.B. Dunbar Perk walked to his bed and sat with a plop on the edge. It was going to be smaller than the king size bed in his home in the city, but if I thought about it, we slept close to each other every night when we were together. The smaller mattress would make no difference. "It seems that everywhere I turn, someone knew you. Someone knew where you were. I've been searching for you for twelve years, and I was the only one who didn't know where you were, while everyone else did. "
"Twelve years?" I asked, as I came to sit next to him. He rubbed a hand down his face and told me about a rainy night long ago in a decrypted home. He claimed he saw me, with Elaine and Elliott, at the side of my sick uncle's bed. It seemed a mystery to me that the same man who found me in the tent, had been the boy I scolded outside my uncle's manor house. It seemed a bit like destiny that he kept finding me, although I didn't remember him as clearly. He was a boy at a confusing time. He was a teenager at a time of dismay. Now, he was a man. When his tale was complete, he looked a bit exhausted as if the weight of years got heavier instead of lifting off his shoulders. I was barely dressed as I left the bathroom in one of his large t-shirts. He undressed down to his boxers, which had become his custom and he covered us in his teenage bed. I had to giggle as I snuggled up to face him.  "How many girls did you have in this thing?" I laughed, a bit bitterly with hope that the number wasn't large.
"None," he said immediately.
"Come on. No high school crush? Summer love? Stolen night or afternoon while your mother was away?"
"No one ever. In this bed." His words stunned me. Visions of Perk in hallways with women pinned to the wall and barrooms with girls on his lap filled my mind.
"Other beds, huh?" I questioned in disbelief. I'd seen his room the first night I stayed. It was obvious someone had slept there with him.
"No girl. No bed. Ever," he repeated, staring up at the ceiling. He had one hand braced behind his head and the other lay between us, which wasn't our customary position. I lay on my side, watching his body grow rigid with each part of my inquisition.
"I saw your room that first night. You'd had a girl there. Maybe not to sleep over, but someone had been there." Bitterness was fully in my mouth at this point, as I envisioned someone else sleeping with him in the same manner we slept.
"No one in my bed. Before you," he said, blowing out air. I could see his chest rising and falling exaggeratedly. If I didn't know better, I thought he might be trying to calm himself as if he were about to explode at me.
"Perk, honest, it's okay. I get it. You're a rock star. Women have thrown themselves at you. It happens, right?" I wasn't as convinced as I tried to sound, as if this was okay with me.
"Hollister, drop it. Please. There's been no one else."
"It's fine, don't tell me. I'm sure you've lost count," I said snippily. Suddenly he turned to face me and the old mattress jiggled under his weight.
"I'm only going to say this once; one more time. There's never been another woman in my bed. There's never been any woman in any other bed with me. There hasn't been any one else."
From the glow of the moonlight outside his unshaded window, I saw his chocolaty eyes sparkle. His face was firm as he emphasized each word.
"Perkins, it's okay"
"Hollister, drop it," he interrupted.
"I don't need to know. I'm just"
"I'm a virgin," he blurted. The words hung in the darkened room.

New Release ~ The Song of David by Amy Harmon

Meet Millie and David (Tag) in the newest stand alone by Amy Harmon
"She said I was like a song. Her favorite song."

Barnes & Noble:

She said I was like a song. Her favorite song. A song isn’t something you can see. It’s something you feel, something you move to, something that disappears after the last note is played.

I won my first fight when I was eleven years old, and I’ve been throwing punches ever since. Fighting is the purest, truest, most elemental thing there is. Some people describe heaven as a sea of unending white. Where choirs sing and loved ones await. But for me, heaven was something else. It sounded like the bell at the beginning of a round, it tasted like adrenaline, it burned like sweat in my eyes and fire in my belly. It looked like the blur of screaming crowds and an opponent who wanted my blood.

For me, heaven was the octagon.

Until I met Millie, and heaven became something different. I became something different. I knew I loved her when I watched her stand perfectly still in the middle of a crowded room, people swarming, buzzing, slipping around her, her straight dancer’s posture unyielding, her chin high, her hands loose at her sides. No one seemed to see her at all, except for the few who squeezed past her, tossing exasperated looks at her unsmiling face. When they realized she wasn’t normal, they hurried away. Why was it that no one saw her, yet she was the first thing I saw?

If heaven was the octagon, then she was my angel at the center of it all, the girl with the power to take me down and lift me up again. The girl I wanted to fight for, the girl I wanted to claim. The girl who taught me that sometimes the biggest heroes go unsung and the most important battles are the ones we don’t think we can win.
**This is David ‘Tag’ Taggert's book, a supporting character introduced in The Law of Moses. This is a stand-alone story.

Millie opened the door to greet me, a smile on her lips, my name on her tongue, but I didn’t wait for her to release it. I wanted her to keep it, savor it, and never let it go. I needed my name to stay inside her so that I wouldn’t float away like a word that’s already been spoken. So I pressed my lips to hers and swung her up in my arms like a man in a movie, and my name became a cry that only I heard.
I felt slightly crazed, and my kiss was frantic as I barreled up the stairs with Millie in my arms. My legs didn’t shake and my mind was clear, as if in its health my body was rebelling too. I wanted to roar and hit my chest. I wanted to shake my fists at the heavens, but more than anything I wanted Millie. I didn’t want to waste another second with Millie.
Then we were in her room, the white comforter pristine and smooth, like Millie’s skin in the moonlight, and I laid her across it, falling down beside her.  I was anxious. Needy. I wanted the safety of her skin, the absolution of her flesh, and the promise that came with it. I wanted to take. I wanted to cement myself in her memory and leave my mark. I needed that. I needed her. She matched my fervor like she understood. She didn’t understand. She couldn’t. But she didn’t slow me down or beg me for reassurance.
My hands were in her hair and tracing her eyes, fingering her mouth, pausing in the hollow of her throat. I wanted to touch every single part of her. But even as I lost myself in the silk of her skin and the sway of her movements against me, I felt the horror rise up inside of me and shimmer beneath my skin. It wouldn’t be enough. It wouldn’t be enough, and I knew it, even as I closed my eyes and tried to make it be enough. I couldn’t breathe and my heart raced, and for a moment I thought I would tell her everything.
She must have mistaken my fear for hesitation, the cessation of my breath for something else, because she cradled my face in her hands and pressed her forehead to mine. And then she whispered my name.
“David, David, David.” It sounded like a song when she said it. And she kissed my lips softly.
“David, David, David.” She chanted my name, like she couldn’t believe it was true, like she liked the way it felt in her mouth.
“I love the way you call me David,” I said, and remembered the line from my silly song, the line that had no rhyme.
“I love that you are mine,” she breathed, and the fear left me for a time. It tiptoed away and love took its place, love and belonging and time that can’t be stolen.
