are you ready to get DECKED??
yes, Yes, YES!! That’s how I feel about Perfect Chaos. It
was Perfect! I’m not going to lie, I’m a huge Nashoda Rose fan. Ever since I
read Torn From You I’ve been hooked. When she announced that she was writing a
companion series to the Tear Asunder series I squee’d like a school girl! DECK
gets his own book! HELL YES! I could not wait to dig into his past & his
head to see what kind of man he really is. I couldn’t wait to learn more about
Georgie and her relationship (or lack thereof) with DECK. Their story is heavy
one, a chaotic one, but one filled hope and the possibility of love. It was
PERFECT.
DECK has known Georgie since she was a teenager. Her brother
and DECK were friends & in the Military together. Things did not go well in
Afghanistan and she holds a lot of resentment towards DECK because of that. Not
only that….but she loves him. It’s hard for her to reconcile the two especially
since he is a constant thorn in her side.
Did I mention Georgie has a secret?? She does! And it drove
me CRAZY trying to figure out what it was. She is so good at hiding things from
DECK and his men. I love it! She is a strong, feisty, independent women. Her
secret may break her in the end…..but luckily she has DECK. He would never let
that happen.
DECK loves Georgie, always has. That doesn’t mean he is
going to act on those feelings. He has a promise that he must keep and in order
to do that he needs to keep Georgie at arm’s length. That’s hard to do because
Georgie is perfect for him. It takes him a while, but once he discovers
something is off with her, he makes her spill her secret and he will stop at
nothing to keep her safe.
But what she doesn’t know…….DECK has a secret of his own.
His might destroy her.
Hhhmmmmm, DECK & Georgie have some serious chemistry. They
fight it, but it’s too strong. They were meant to be together. I loved the back
and forth between the two. Lol! They are so stubborn and strong willed.
Perfect!
For me this book was not just romance, it had mystery &
suspense. A deeper story line runs through and will continue in the next book
in this series, Perfect Ruin. Nashoda writes such wonderful characters. These
characters have depth & dimension. It makes it so easy to root for them,
love them and impatiently wait for the next book about them.
If you are looking for a book with suspense, mystery and an
Alpha Male & strong female lead that have uber chemistry then I would 100%
recommend Perfect Chaos. If you are looking to read a book with complex mysterious
characters, then pick up Perfect Chaos. You will not be disappointed.
