Synopsis
Separated from Finn, captive of the Order, Nurrin has no hope left. But she has survived twenty years of zombies--and she has the unshakable faith that Finn will find her.

But Finn is a long way away. The Order's influence runs deeper than was ever suspected, and politics are shifting--and zombies may not be the most dangerous thing she's facing.

Finn always thought the war stripped him of all he had to lose. But with Nurrin missing and doors closing in his face, he realizes there is always more for the world to take--and he will drag the remains of civilization down with him before he gives up on the only promise that matters.

My Review
The Future Without Hope is the 3rd book in The World Without End series. I hope at this point you have read The World Without A Future & The Horde Without An End……..if not get on it! They are on sale right now for 99cents!
So, at this point in the story……..Nurrin has been taken by the order. The first part of the book is about this. Nurrin learning what the order really wants from her and surviving long enough for Finn to find her. That is her only hope. Terrible things happen to her during this time, but this ends up making her stronger and even more determined to survive to exact her revenge! I’m mean….some of the people in the order are down right crazy!
Finn has one hell of a time finding Nurrin (I mean…was there really any doubt that he would?). He must align himself with people from his past that he does not like/trust and make promises that he finds hard to keep. In the end, it’s worth it because he does rescue her and the other Firsts from the order. When he finds out what happened to her, he loses it a bit.
I don’t blame him. It’s obvious that he has feelings for Nurrin (and that she has feelings for him as well). The two of them have definitely had their ups and downs….but there was always that underlying sexual chemistry. There was a lot more interaction between the two in this story (THANK GOD!) and it was HOT….like super hot, steamy, fan myself hot. Maybe this was 2 ½ books worth of sexual build up but I didn’t care. I was INTO it. But of course, it can’t last too long with these two. It’s the Love/Hate thing. Nurrin wants to know more about Finn’s past (and she does learn more in this book) and Finn just wants her to want him and focus on the future. I have a feeling that they will work things out (They better!).
Towards the end of the book things really start to pick up and change. At this point I thought this was the final book and was wondering how this was going to end?? It soon became obvious that there was going to be another book because there was NO WAY it could end like this. Nurrin wants to fight because she feels like there is no hope in the future, and Finn wants to take Nurrin away from everything and just keep her alive. Everything that they thought they knew, they didn’t. If Finn follows Nurrin into the Horde there is no telling what the future will hold.
This is my review from book one (The World Without A Future) and pretty much all of it still holds true for this book, except for the age thing, everything has been cleared up for me on that issue.

Could not put this book down! Started it last night....and done this morning. It was captivating, thrilling, and sexy! Not the typical Zombie Apocalypse book. Great premise & just enough back story coming through to keep you guessing as to where the story is going. The main characters are strong, if at some points unlikable (which I tend to like in my leading men), determined and have a will to survive. I was questioning the ages a bit. That is not quite clear for me (except the female lead, her age is important), but the rest.....not sure how that works with the time line. But all in all an griping story!

I am SO looking forward to the 4th book! Which hopefully will be coming out summer of 2015
